We have developed a program which calculates the required pressure at the pig launcher for pigging system of the pipe line. Pig cleaning (pigging) cleans the internal pipeline by replacing fluid A with fluid B in the pipeline by the pig pushing.

We believe that, by using our program, the required pressure to transfer the pig can be obtained in advance, which will be useful to planning the system constitution and its operation.

Our program is also designed to fit a number of various cases, such as:
- flashing of gas pipeline,
- emptying a pipeline with air,
- cleaning with air, water or oil,
- replacing with a different fluid, and
- hydrostatic testing operations to allow the pipeline to be filled with water.
Furthermore, this program is capable of calculating the control pressure of the pig receiver.
